Some like it cool ...

35'c + ... it has been a scorcher here the last few weeks!  Classic topknot, glowing skin, and blondie hair... I have now been living here for 5 months can you believe?!

Feeling like a true Portuguese, I purchased this beautiful boutique beach cover-up. Tassels, colourful pom poms and frilly details....easy peasy to throw on for the beach.  With so many boutiques around the Algarve I love to venture out of normal buying trends.  As much as I love my brands I always like to be different and support smaller shops and cultures.

More of the Portuguese trends coming soon with a swimwear blog upcoming... x

NoSoloÁgua Club

Cocktails, palm trees, Djs and pool beds....welcome to NoSoloÁgua Club in Praia de Rocha marina!

With a friend visiting from England for a week I managed to take a couple of days of work to enjoy and pretend I was on holiday too!  A few friends had recommended this beach club to us, and it definitely made for a great afternoon.

Situated right on the Praia de Rocha marina, there was a fun but relaxed vibe.  Ideal to spend the day around the pool and have some lunch in their restaurant.  Otherwise turn up later for there sunset parties!

Definitely worth a visit!

It's been a busy few months since I moved to paradise.... but back to the blog!

Time to style out the heat... with the arrival of summer and 39'c!  Sometimes I just want to live in my swimwear! Otherwise for me it's simple one-item outfits most of the time.  Minimalistic, simple shapes, "throw-on" pieces that I do not even need to think about putting on.  This dress was one of those purchases!

Drinks and walks along the beach are my favourite after work.  Which made for the perfect time to take these shots.....

Enjoy! x

Olá! Bom dia!

My first blog post from my new home.  Yes!  My sister and I moved to Portugal last month.  A decision that was a long time coming…

Beautiful sunshine, delicious food and my favourite beaches… I cannot wait to share with you my idea’s this year.  A new home, a new venture……surely a new wardrobe?!

Time to step into Spring with the ultimate effortless but high impact shoe…the backless loafer.  Great to start airing those feet and welcoming some warmth.  I fell in love with these black leather bee detail loafer’s whilst shopping in Dubai last November…and have been dying to wear them.

Top-up the look with another season favourite… power frills, embroidery, ripped jeans and florals.  Kinda girly but not too much!

Tchau for now! I am off to enjoy the sunshine! x

After a 'Jolly Holly' Christmas there is nothing quite like the fresh outdoors!
A crisp walk around Leeds Castle, pub lunch and a chance to get lost in the maze....

Still not that cold in the UK for December, it was amazing to see daffodils in full bloom!  Definitely a chance to layer-up but not too much.

Feeling like Pocahontas in my new suede tassel boots, today's look was all about contrast.  Simple, fitted clothing pieces accompanied with loose, layered accessories.  Be careful not to overdo the fringing/tassels! The classic shape, knee-high suede riding boots really were a great investment which will never date.
